Today must be the hardest day this October.

Well….I thought about those words i wanna write but…it just seem that I can’t really get it out.

This is hard!

Well, I don’t actually quite sure what I’m gonna do with this brand new old blog. I’ve changed the blog title. I kinda wish to make it more like my diary or journal, inspired by of course…nooo.. u’re wrong, not The Vampire Diaries, it’s just the name I used. but the truth is this energy and ego to blog again is inspired by AWKWARD.

The new hit  MTV series which’s really amusing, entertaining, funny, relatable and sexy. It’s nothing new for the genre but Awkward delivers a light teen comedy drama (read: boring) into this witty drama bout teen insanity which is really really watchable. Like how the teen drama goes, it has the sadistic imperfect queen bee and the sweet nice protagonist. But….

There’s a but(t) here guys, AWKWARD. In Awkward World, besides all the stereotypes,the queen bee (Sadie) is a fat snob girl who looks like an epileptic gal every time she talks. In other word, she’s the opposite of every queen be in teen drama.

Ok, enough about AWKWARD. That is not what I meant when I decided to post this.

What I’m gonna tell you is that I’ll post some updates (hence the “s”) soon. While I’m proud about things that happen around me, I’m not pretty sure people will actually care to read my diaries/journal. Hey… I’m not Elena Gilbert or Stephan Salvatore. (Ewww….a vampire who writes a journal. Yikes!!!!). So, I decide that I’ll blog the same as always TV Series, songs etc and I’m gonna blog about my days also (like Jenna Hamilton). Although come to think of it, I kinda feel like my so-called diaries will be more dramatic than the reality (the truth)…. Hiiiiiiyyy…

Ohhhhh…Gee!!!!! Thank you it’s Thursday! Finally… I hope that this time we actually leave this town. I knowww cALANG has never done a single bad thing for me. It’s just the person I’m going with here!!!!! Ugh…it’s killing me!

But obviously as part of my wiser live plan, right now I’m totally living it. I accept everything life has to offer.

Anyway, needless to say, I really really really want to start studying for my exam next month! This is it, guys! MY LAST CHANCE. (I always act like this is an audition like X Factor or something. Cuz believe it guys, I’ll never get to do one in my life).

Cute is What We Aim For is back!!! Setelah sempat hiatus (setaun lebih kyknya), CIWWAF balik dgn lagu gratisan yg bisa didonlot lewat twitter (Gee…the power of social networking). For me, this is their another good alternative song but not good enough to top ‘Practice Makes Perfect’ and ‘The Curse of Curves’ (my most favorite CIWWAF’s song). Yah…single yang ini ear catchy lah!!! Could be their next hit.

The Maine – Inside of You

Lagu barunya The Maine ini sempat jadi Trending Topic di twitter waktu diperkenalkan pertama kali tanggal 4 Mei kmrn. Waktu pertama kali mau denger langsung suka sama judulnya (judulnya lohhh…), eh ternyata emang enak, walaupun belum bisa mengalahkan single terdahulunya such as Everything I Ask For sama yang paling aku suka KISS AND SELL (aaahhh…story of someone’s life). The Maine sets this single as their lead for their upcoming album, Black and White. Kabarnya The Maine ngebatalin turnya karena mau rekaman album baru ini lho. Kita liat dan dgrn aja nanti bulan Juli.

3OH!3 Ft. Ke$ha – My First Kiss

Excuse me, guys!!! This song is AWE—-wait for it—-SOME!!!! Kayak Startrukk yg dicampur sama Blah Blah Blah. A bit of 30H!3, a bit of Ke$ha. Bener2 hubungan yang simbiosis mutualisme nih, setelah Ke$ha ‘ditolongin’ di Blah Blah Blah. This song reminds me of….YOUR FIRST KISS!!! Makes u wanna dance aaaand dance.

Tim Urban – Can’t Help Falling In Love

Best Tim urban’s performance in Idol ever. Tim Urban yg selalu ‘diremehkan’ akhirnya ‘baru’ bisa membuktikan klo dia bisa nyanyi sebenar2nya di minggu ketujuh. (Jadi dia selama ini ngapain yah?) Kadang suka heran, punya ‘tampilan’ yg bagus kok disirikin sih!? Well, he did this song perfectly! Really really romantic. Simple tapi menghanyutkan. Membuat kita mengkhayalkan kisah2 percintaan yang sedih2, apalagi pas di bagian akhirnya. Great choice to end this song!!!

Jordin Sparks – Reflection

Another Idol alumni. Lagu yang dijadikan soundtrack Mulan ini dicover sama Jordin jadi soundtrack TV Movie, Secrets of The Mountain. Mirip mirip aja sama Christina. Tapi sejauh ini reviewnya biasa aja, ada yang bilang orang yang paling cocok nyanyiin ulang lagu ini yah Jordin Sparks, apalagi dia pernah bawain lagu ini di Idol which i clearly don’t care.

(allegedly) Britney Spears – Telephone

A demo for Lady Gaga’s Telephone allegedly sang by Britney Spears. Most people mocked her version of this song. Somehow, i like it. It’s stuck in my head. Yah semingguan ini lumayan sering dengerin, means that it caught my ear, right?

Cary Brothers – Ghost Town

Cary Brothers released his new single, Ghost Town. Crunchy! Simple yet powerful. Cobain denger Cary Brothers yang lain seperti The Lost One, Ride, All The Rage, Wasted One, Something…aaah…soothes u.

Lee Dewyze – You’re Still The One

This song kinda reminds me of David Cook’s Always Be My Baby which was highly praised by Mariah Carey. Lagu penyanyi cewek yang dinyanyikan ulang sama bagusnya dan ga bisa dinilai secara bersamaan. Versinya Lee Dewyze yah versinya Lee Dewyze, yang Shania Twain tetap bagus juga.

Mehrzad Marashi – Don’t Believe

Kayak Bleeding Love!!! Mehrzad Marashi ini pemenang kontes pencari bakat juga. Emang single2 pop R&B Ryan Tedder lagi musim aja. Klo cewe yang nyanyi mungkin bisa lebih enak kali ya. Well, this one caught my ear smoothly.

Rooney – I Can’t Get Enough

My favorite band since I knew THE O.C is back with a new song. I don’t know why everytime i hear ‘Rooney’, i think about The O.C. Marissa Cooper and the gang!!! This song has Rooney’s fingerprints all over it. Like this, Play this on repeat!!!!!

The Pretty Reckless – Superhero

The Pretty Reckless lah yang menjadi alasan Taylor Momsen untuk absen sebentar dari Gossip Girl. Superhero is one of their songs that’s leaked on the net. Their official first single so far is Make Me Wanna Die. Well, i like this song. Sound like Saving Jane and The Veronicas (Eh…band ini emg jadi band pembuka konsernya The Veronicas loh).

I looooove reality shows. Well, reality bites!!!!
Most of reality shows i watch are my guilty pleasures such as The Hills, The City, Bromance, produk2 MTV itu laah…(iiiiy…guilty pleasure kok banyaaakkk….). My excuse is i watch ‘em because the songs in the shows are great. Yah namanya juga produk MTV. Okay, i admit it, i’m a reality show junkie. I just can’t get enough of the drama (even though my life has a lot).
Let’s face it, drama yang ada di reality show itu yg menarik penonton buat ngikutin reality show.
Klo ngga’ buat kita ‘pengen nonton’ atau buat ‘males dan kesel tp pgn nonton trs’…
The main point is IT’S REALITY SHOW.
It’s based on reality (yah…though most of ‘em are fake, tapi itu lah yg buat enak. Or is it just me???).
Anyway, reality shows come and go. Abis satu muncul lagi yg lain. Nah, ini lah reality drama yg masih ‘anget and i really really wanna watch. Huff…let’s go hunting!!!! (Awww….embarassing…memalukan skali diriku!!!! ‘Hunting’nya trash2 begini… Ah…yang penting asik..aaaasiiik…)

KELL ON EARTH
Kell On Earth is a new reality show from Bravo. It revolves around Kelly Cutrone’s world, a famous fashion industry publicist. Klo yang udah pernah nonton The Hills atau The City pasti tau lah sama sih Kell ini.
Kelly Cutrone is like a light version of Meryl Streep in The Devil Wears Prada. Ketegasan dan blak-blakannya kadang disalahartikan jadi kekejaman. Look what she’s done to Stephanie Pratt in The Hills. Dibuatnya sampe nangis2!!!! Ahhhh…suka lah liat adegan kayak gitu (ada orang yg dimarahin sampe nangis2).
Nah, kali ini Kelly dibuat sendiri reality shownya yg crtain ttg pekerjaanny (of course! Masa’ sex life-nya!? Though it would be great, not that i want to see her….. khukhukhu…).
….Uuuurgghhh…suka bgt pas dia bilang, “If u want to cry, go outside”. I wish i could say that to people.

Next, still from Bravo. Ihhh… Bravo ini jangan2 home of ‘gitu’2 reality shows… Ahhh…apa itu ‘gitu2′…
Singkat aja ya, acara2 begini singkat-panjang lebar sama aj. Gampang kok…gampang dimengerti. No need to use our brain to watch these kind of shows!!!!
Some says NYC Prep is the real life of Gossip Girl, some says it’s 90210 in reality. Well, for me, it’s just another trash on the glass screen (trash that i love tho’)
Everytime i see these rich spoiled kids, it’s like i wanna kill ‘em (and eat ‘em… Whoooow….). Ahhh…beruntung sekali mereka (dan ‘pemeran’nya).

…Aaaaahhh…God, stop this torture, please. I wanna live like ‘em. Khukhukhukhu…

…Tuh kan, mirip2 kyk The Hills dan produk MTV lainnya, intronya itu lhooo, pake lagunya LEONA LEWIS, klo di The Hills pake NATASHA BEDINGFIELD. Same theme, eh sama2 British lagi!!!

Setelah The Hills banyak diprotes karena kurang menampilkan orang2 berkulit hitam di dalamnya (huh…siapa nih yang protes???? Biarin lah. Emangnya wajib tuh ada ‘orang berkulit hitam’. Not that i’m racist.) Tapi emg sih perhatiin di serial2 US, sprti ada ‘kewajiban’ buat memasukkan tokoh berkulit hitam dalam acaranya meskipun itu satu orang (dan menyebalkan).
Nah, Taking the Stage ini menampilkan sebagian besar pengisi acara yang berkulit hitam. Acara yang diproduserin sm Nick Lachey ini bercerita tentang lima anak yang bersekolah di SCPA. Well, like other MTV shows, the drama and songs are cheesy, entertaining and LOOOOOVELY. (Duh, do i have to write that ‘lovely’ word? Well, i just don’t know how to describe it anymore)

DJ Earworm yang juga dikenal sebagai Jordan Roseman yang paling dikenal lewat ‘mashup’nya United State of Pop dimana setiap tahunnya mulai dari 2007, DJ Earworm memilih 20-25 lagu terbaik paling terkenal dari Billboard Top 100 untuk dijadikan satu remix.
I think it’s really brilliant. Contohnya aja nih di United State of Pop 2008: Viva La Pop dimana dia menjadikan Viva La Vida-nya Coldplay sebagai lagu latar annual mashup-nya ini and
he mixed other 24 top 40 songs such as Rihanna’s Take A Bow, Disturbia and Don’t Stop The Music (no wonder, 2008 was her year), Leona Lewis, Chris Brown, Timbaland and many more. And the result, IT’S AMAZING….

Jadi udah kebayang kan gimana asiknya untuk yang seri 2009. Nah, United State of Pop 2009 yang dilabeli Blame It On the Pop ini masih memuat 25 lagu dari Billboard Top 100. Dengerin mashup song ini trus coba tebak lagu2 apa aj yang masuk jadi materinya. Unbelievable. How could he pull this one off? I’m so amazed that i play it multiple times.
